Project 47 was created to compete in the DVXuser.com HorrorFest 2006. Production took place in the Fall over four days. The fest had a six-minute time limit but in the editing process, producers quickly saw that a longer cut was needed. The submitted six-minute cut fared well but didn't place in the top three. Geoff spent the next few months recutting the final film.
